Imphal, March 4, 2022(DIPR): Several government departments have started making arrangements to highlight their respective achievements during the visit of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on coming March 15. It may be mentioned that the BJP-led state government is planning to showcase its achievements during the last three years through the performances of these various departments.
Water Resources Minister Shri Letpao Haokip today chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall of Secretariat (South Block) to discuss about the arrangements to be taken by the WR department during the visit of the Union Home Minister.
Smt Jacintha Lazarus (IAS), Secretary of the department; Chief Engineer Shri Songput N Albert and many top level engineers of the various divisions of the department took part in the inter-departmental meeting.
Minister Shri Letpao advised the officials and engineers to prepare tableaux and miniature models of the various dams and multi-purpose projects taken up under this department for better and effective highlighting of the performance of the WR department. (DIPR)
