Increasing numbers of entrepreneurs will minimize the problem of unemployment
Imphal,23rd March,2018(DIPR): Commerce, Industries and Textiles Minister shri Thongam Biswajit Singh today inaugurated one day job fair at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology ,Imphal.
The one day job fair was organized by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology in collaboration with Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. The main objective of the one day fair is to provide jobs to trained job seekers of the state.
Speaking on the occasion Minister Th .Biswajit stated that increasing numbers of entrepreneurs will minimize the problem of unemployment in the state as unemployement is the big isuue in our state .And we should not wait only for white collar jobs , instead we should be a entrepreneur who can employ at least 7 to 8 persons.
He also continued that we should respect those people working in private sectors as respecting each other will bring all round development in our State. There is need for rectification in our system for the implementation of PMEGP in the State.
He encourage the youths to take up poultry and fish farming .As there are many water bodies in our state,we can take up fish farming as it is very profitable job. He also urges the youth to take opportunity of start up and stand up policy which was launched by Our Prime Minister for the unemploy youth.
He maintained that we should take advantage of Made In India project,which is providing investment opportunities for foreigners.He also explained in length regarding Kishan Sampada and the schemes for skill development under Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission.
He asserted that now people can roam freely in hilly areas without any fear, and it is a sign of development and the present Government is able to bridge the gap between the hill and the valley. He also appealed to youths to work hard in life as without hardwork we cannot achieve our goal.
Altogether 17 companies from various sector attended the job fair.
The inaugural session of the function was also attended by Senior Technical Director of NIC Shri L.Shyamjit ,Additional Director of NIELIT Senapati Extension Centre,Shri Y.Subashchandra singh ,officials and students of NIELIT amongst others.(DIPR)
