Imphal, January 14, 2022 (DIPR): Education Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam today released the calendar of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) State Mission Authority, Manipur, Education Department for the year 2018 at Canchipur.
Speaking as Chief Guest at the launching of the calendar, the Minister said, a new significant feature of the yearly office activity for the Education Department and academic curriculum activity of the Government schools for the year 2018 has been added to the calendar. The idea to include the yearly activities in the calendar is aimed to enhance the functioning of the teachers and students in more effective and systematic manner, he explained.
A video with an aim to create awareness about the Right to Education (RTE) to the public was also released on the occasion.
The calendar was released in the presence of Principal Secretary Education (S) Shri Vineet Joshi, Director of Education (S) Shri Th. Kirankumar, Additional State Project Director SSA, Manipur Shri T. Phullen Meetei and Addl. State Project Director RMSA, Manipur Shri L. Nandakumar Singh and the officials of the department. (DIPR)
